No Direction when on Phone

Yesterday, I think I found a issue. While Navigating to another location, my wife happened to call. The navigation no longer speaks direction when the phone call is active.

That's distrubing... I mean shouldn't it continue to voice a direction? Am I thinking about this all wrong?

Just one man’s opinion here, but I’m happy with the functionality as is. I can’t imagine anything more frustrating than missing an important part of the phone call for a “keep straight” type of navigation alert.

working as designed and the same as pretty much every car I've owned.
It will also silence the radio or pause the music etc,
If you miss a turn the nav will reroute you anyway, so you should be fine
