No LTE connection in car

No LTE in New Jersey either. I installed 2018.16 last night and thought that killed it, but apparently not.

Just spoke to service for a separate issue and was informed that this is a wide spread outage.

Thanks for that. In MA here and no internet. I was going to call service but will wait and see since it seems widespread. My phone is on att so it seems like a Tesla issue?

I hope it doesn’t take as long to fix as the internet throttling from last year.

I’m out as well here in Boston running 2018.14.2.

I’m guessing it’s not a systemwide hardware issue as the outage occured at the start of a new month.

So maybe software glitch or perhaps contract dispute.

Yup, I calling for an issue related to my GPS being "stuck" after receiving the new maps and told them I was also having issues with LTE and was somewhat relieved that it was not related!!! FYI - I spoke with someone from the NA Service dept.

Any chance you were on Wi-Fi when you connected to the app and it wasn't the 3G? I am just making a guess.

noticed when I had no traffic data I have T-Mobile so turned on my hotspot on phone and connected Wi-Fi to my phone hotspot works fine but right no LTE on car

I called Tesla and just got a call back. They said it is “affecting multiple cars” and they are working on it.

Same here. Also, the car refused to stream music via BT from my Verizon Android phone. Only thing that worked was AM/FM radio.

Same problem in Florida. Guess it's a good day for my car to be in the shop. Although I have no access to the app.

Don't know if it's related but my neighbor has lost his ATT service on his phone.
