I'm hoping I get a positive update soon on my 9/26 order - I'm also in Florida. Got a VIN on order day and it disappeared today. (different VIN in source)

Do you remember last 6 digits? starts with 5xx,xxx ? I saw the newest VIN on spreadsheet 533,xxx - this is a good sign : ) i guess lol

FWIW, my first 3 was a 450xxx VIN and I ordered in July. Build sticker states 7/19 production. I would assume that meant it was not an inventory car sitting at a center/showroom.

New here today. Ordered white on black SR+ on Sept 27. No VIN. Sales person says has no idea when it will come in. Checked with him today on config changes. Says there will be no changes to my order. But, my order still says within 2 weeks.

Problem #1 is customer and sales team communication.
Problem #2 is distribution logistics

In order to calm down I've changed my focus from I want my cool car now to fighting climate change is hard, but worth it.

Not sure if it is a good sign yet! looking at the OCT VIN# , they are old VIN#. The latest VIN for Q3 is 530,xxx

likely due to orders pulling from existing inventory. My VIN is 515, but I changed my order so that I could take one from inventory in another state and pick up next week. That’s probably what others did as well u fortunately.

could it be that Tesla is possibly going to fulfill orders placed before their “change”?

I think VIN numbers are not that reliable in determining when a car was made.

Okay, just saw the latest spreadsheet. I see a few people who configured their car on Oct. 9th & 12th & been assigned VIN!!! Couple of those guys are from LA & SF. I'm in SoCal, on day 17 & still no VIN! I just don't get it.
