NoA: Additional Cameras Calibrating 0%

I picked up my MX a week ago and put about 500 miles on it (mainly well-marked highways). The Navigate on Autopilot option is still grayed out and the "Additional cameras calibrating" message still shows 0%. I've seen other posts where people are reporting that percentage stuck in the 90s, but nothing I have tried from those posts seem to help. I'm on 2019.5.15.

Also DashCam is not working. Tried several different USB memory sticks. The car is adding empty mp4 files, so the sticks are recognized, but the DashCam icon never displays.

I'm thinking the two issues above are related, and may be a bad camera...

Any ideas?

For the DashCam feature, it is currently disabled with HW3. My unit was delivered late in March with the updated hardware and as Elon Musk noted, there is a slight disadvantage with the new hardware until they can catch up the software. I guess it's simipar wot the AP1 -> AP2 transition for a bunch of folks where it took a while for all the features to be at parity.

Oddly, the Autopilot "calibration" piece didn't turn on for me when delivered from the factory. They delivery specialist was a bit surprised that he didn't see anything. Hope the SC takes care of this for you.

Might be a moot/stupid suggestion..

But...
Did you try a reset?
Hold down both scroll wheels on steering wheel (soft reset)

Or reset 2:
Do the above while also holding brake(hard reset)

Keep both wheels and pedal pressed until logo shows on screen

Good to know about the DashCam and HW3. I am relatively certain that mine was delivered with HW3, as well. Hopefully they can remedy the autopilot issue when I bring it in.

Curious if this got resolved? I'm in the same boat - MX (March 2019 build) with firmware 2019.5.17. No NoAP or Dashcam, and seriously wonky AutoSteering - keep having bouts of 'phantom breaking'. It's enough now that I've had to stop using it all together - family is too scared to drive in the car anymore.

Similarly, I've tried power off/reboot, soft and hard reset. No joy.

The NoAP issue was resolved remotely before I went to the SC. I would suggest using the app to "Schedule Service", select "Driver Assistance Features", and explain the issue. They may be able to fix it like they did for me. The DashCam issue is related to having HW3 as @Tkun noted above (they'll get the software to us eventually).

I've had some issues with phantom braking, but nothing I am too concerned with. I think I have identified, and can anticipate, some of the conditions when it happens. They seem like moderate edge cases. For example, a car parked on the side of the road at the apex of a curve (especially when also at the crest of a hill; not sure why in the hell someone would think it's a good idea to park in this manner, anyway, but here we are...). I can see how this might confuse a learning neural net, and so it brakes out of caution. I'm guessing more training and software patches will help address these issues.

I'm in the same boat regarding driving experience. Did you ever find resolve? Very frustrating not to even be able to use cruise control. I've posted recently on Reddit in the TeslaMotors sub under Navigate on AutoPilot Fail. Perhaps you've experienced similar traffic and lane depictions on your screen? Almost comical except for being frustrating.
