Looks like reservation made well beyond 2016 current owners are allow to configure now. Yes I made the choice to give my deposit and no one is forcing me to buy. This is just disappointing that's all. Day 1 Line Waiter... Hoping to configure soon...

Quick Q:
If I get invite to configure, and I decide to wait for white interior (assuming it's not available when I get invite), I assume/hope I am going to retain my place in line for when the white interior is available?

I interpret the pole results as meaning that 3% of TMCers have limited reading comprehension. A surprisingly good result.

Yes, there have been other reports by former owners who are still getting owner priority for the Model 3.

Whatever results can be obtained from these sort of polls pales in comparison to the amount of data you can get from the invite spreadsheet: 12-28-17 New Invite / Configuring / Delivery Spreadsheet

There’s just under 2100 entries in there from people with Model 3 reservations. It’s the best and most comprehensive data set we have available and it makes polls like the one in this thread pretty pointless. Go check out the spreadsheet for yourself and add your own info to it if you haven’t already. It’s really quite impressive what the Model 3 community has assembled.

I'm a non-owner and received my invite yesterday! I placed my order on 3/31/16 at about 9:00 am (approximately 75-100th in line) in Burlingame, CA! I reserved 2 model 3's, and got my invites yesterday to configure both of them! So happy!!!
