Just like Tesla, SpaceX seems to be an attractive media hit list target. Just looking to present a little more of that fair and balanced thing here. We're all too familiar, anomalies happen. Last week there were news reports that a Chinese rocket exploded after launch with alleged debris found in Cambodia. Although, we'll likely never see any video of that launch.

Two days ago Northrup Grumman conducted a test firing of their new solid-propellant Castor 600 rocket motor in Promontory, Utah. This first stage booster is planned for launching future government spy satellites. Rocket ignition starts just after 20 minutes in. The rocket nozzle RUD occurs just after the 22 minute mark. At the post-test press conference Bill Harwood asked a good question as to the commonality between this nozzle and the SLS version. The response was that they are a little bit different, with distinct differences.

Interesting moment shortly after the completion of the test fire. The two hapless hosts are caught a wee bit flat-footed. One of them signed off with a cringeworthy, "it's been a pleasure." Yikes!
