Atm, everything is all cleared with payment. Account show 0 for balance. just need to see the car and take it home.
When I was contacted on the 17th by the rep in Las Vegas I asked if I had to pay in order to get a delivery date and they said I could bring a check at delivery or pay online 2-3 days before the delivery date. With these stories of cancellations and rescheduled deliveries I’m leaning towards bringing a check at delivery so my $ doesn’t sit in Tesla’s account until May!

Well anyone in Maryland governor just said all nonessential businesses will close at 5 PM until further notice ( I’m assuming no date was added ) so delivery will probably end today at 5pm now I’m not sure if they will consider Tesla essential but they will probably follow NY and NJ just a heads up

I read that too... but automotive supply stores and repair shops are considered to be essential and can stay open.
I’m hoping the Tesla service centers are still open and can still do deliveries... either at the service centers or via home delivery all contactless

They do the home delivery thing. I was thinking they would say sales is closed but keep service open and do deliveries only.

Paramus NJ tesla just called me directly to tell me they are closed which I knew already. They said they are working with the state to do touchless pickups. They have a list which I was added to who need there cars asap. Also they will look at home delivery as well. So we will see!!

I was scheduled to get my Y this Friday in Devon Pa. Devon closed down and said they would reroute to Chery Hill, NJ.
NJ is now shut down and I received a text from Vegas this morning saying my VIN has been cancelled and I no longer have a delivery date.
What??? I asked if they can reroute to Rockville, Md and they said no. I've already sold my old car and have a binder on the new car based on the VIN I had. Not happy!!!
What ?? Insane !!

Had a feeling the might start doing this to Northeast orders...re-assign vins and move cars to states that can still deliver. This way they can still sell the cars for the end of the quarter :/

My VIN is still assigned, and Delivery has been moved to May 1st (im sure thats just a placeholder for now).

wow May 1 did you ask for that, or they offered that as a placeholder?

No it automatically updated to that...I was originally supposed to pick it up on the 19th but they had to push it back to the 25th because of the rear seat fastener issue, and then go screwed by the lockdown.

Not sure what im going to do if they dont figure out a way to pick it up in the next week...I dont want to be stuck with a 2 month old car thats been sitting on the lot come May.

If they can't deliver it next week, they should just ship it back to Fremont and get it fixed here. One of us would gladly take the car plus we can justify the $1200 delivery/document fee since it made a trip out there and back.

I just spoke to a delivery specialist from Tesla (Vegas number), first he apologized for calling so late (called around 840 PM EST). He then confirmed as of this moment, there is no change in MD deliveries. However, he said the situation is fluid.

But interesting comment he made was, that the home deliveries are completely contactless and there is zero interaction with the delivery team. He even went to say they drop off the car in the middle of the night, then in the morning you wake up and can take delivery of the car. Very interesting to say the least. Can anyone else comment on if their home deliveries.... occurred in the middle of the night?

Just talked to my advisor about my Y delivery this Saturday at the Paramus NJ location. They said this location has ceased operations at the moment do to the Corona Virus and they don't have a time frame on when they will open again. I asked them about touch less delivery and they said they don't know now. They said they have a meeting soon to go over everything and will get back with me

I wonder if one of these is your car. Snapped a photo of these Model Y sitting at the store in Paramus on Rt 17.

Y fsd red performance with white. waiting on vermont delivery.
chatted on line with someone from tesla who gave me several pieces of information about what i should do to assure delivery in the near future. at that time the next step was sending copy of title for trade in. this morning received a call from 725 to ask if i had all the information i needed. the caller searched around in the files available to them and said they could no VIN assigned yet. after the phone conversation went ahead and sent in title and proof of insurance. now my page says "We are drafting up your contract and will contact you when you can make your final payment."
neither person i corresponded with was a delivery specialist. yesterday was last day to complete cars.
