Not bad range coming up on 2 years old P90DL

Charged the battery to 100% last night for a short trip the wife is taking today.

At 100% the battery came in at 260 miles. Which is pretty good imo. Now, the car is low miles @7500 but, it's nice to see that time isn't hurting the battery much. In Aug 2017 the car will be 2 years old.

my last 100% netted 257 miles, i also had 10600 miles on the clock at that charge.

What was it when new? On my 90d new I rated 291 at 100% in may right now at I'm at 271 but just went through winter so I think that affects its calculations some

It was 60° last night.

I bought the car with 5000 miles. So not sure.

P90D with 12,024 miles. Just did a trip with a few 100% charges. Rated range is 269, so not much degradation at all.

Mine does:

260 miles at 100% SOC.
P90D/L built end of June 2016.
Just past 13,000 miles.

273 miles at 100% SOC.
Back in July 2016
Around 400 miles back then.

Just to add more details. I also have Battery Part #: 1063792 (which apparently is the v1 battery for the P90D/L capable of a maximum of 450 kw.

P90D/L built after the August 2016 timeframe I think came with Battery Part Number 1071394 capable of 490 kw,
I think around Sept or Oct the P90D/L came with Battery Part #: 1071941 and 1088792 which was capable of 510 kw

I hope the P90D does as well as my 2013 85 (regular) pack. In 4+ years of driving and over 42000 miles, my 90% charge was 231 this morning. When the car was new it was 234-236. One thing when calculating your charge miles is make sure your tires are properly inflated. Throughout my 4+ year life with our S, the biggest impact on rage is tire pressure considering all else is the same. For example, I recently noticed I was getting about 10% less range from a charge and was concerned. I checked my pressure (I have 19s on now), and my pressure was low. I pumped them back up to 45psi, and my range went right back up.

So interesting. I have a 3015 P85D that is a service loaner than I charged to 100% and it gets around 254.

In comparison the 2017 75d at 100% gets 259.

you are 7 miles down from where my pre-battery needs service v2 pack was at near the 10k mile range.

the loaner v1 pack i got was showing 268 at 100, unknown mileage on the pack



just out of curiosity, are you getting regen limiting at temperatures between 50* and 70* ?

Not sure I have seen any reg limiting but according to powertools my max power is down to 430 (from 489) and 0-60 is down to 3.2 from 3.0. This was at 100 soc with max battery ready (no launch mode). Call and email into Dania Beach SC to get it checked.

My P90D is just approaching 12 months old (11000kms) and after seeing this thread I took note this evening after charging. Running out of time I got to 96% and saw to my surprise I had 306 miles (493km) rated.
This quelled any desire to upgrade anytime soon

My guess is that you have your settings set to show "Ideal" instead of "Rated".
