Not my day...

Lady thought she put it in park but only got it into neutral. I'm guessing it was up against the Honda in front of it and when the Honda left, it left it free to roll into my Model Y. I put in a claim with her insurance. Hope it doesn't take weeks to get fixed.

Sorry about your car getting hit. It always an unhappy time.
On a happier note, I find it very, very, hard to believe it will take months to fix.

Hang in there....hope it goes smoothly !!!
Hopefully it's fixed within 2 months. On my auto insurance, I've increased my rental coverage to at least 2 months of rental car vs 30 days when I drove non-Tesla cars.

You must be new around here, lol. Just dealing with insurance takes weeks, then the back and forth with the shop, then waiting for parts, which is a huge variable with Tesla, then getting the shop to redo the crappy work they did.

You forgot them having to wait until they have several cars of the same color before they'll mix a batch of paint. My M3 was in their shop for over 3 months for a minor rear-end collision.

Never heard of that one. Paint tends to be manufacturer specific for one, and they don't mix gallons of the stuff. For that matter most parts come pre-painted these days.

I'm happy you had Sentry mode enabled to capture this. You can't make this stuff up.

This. You'd be surprised how often you hear people post up saying that their Sentry mode wasn't working at a particular time when they needed the recording.

I'm also in disbelief that the person parked their car at such an angle in the parking spot (which you can see from the side camera view), and that caused the Mazda to roll into your rather than into the Toyota pickup that was directly in front of it
