November / Late November delivery (2013) VINs?

Guys, first post so please take it easy on me:

I got a P85+ with VIN (26117). Confirmed yesterday. Do you guys think a Late November delivery is realistic at this point? I am worried since I am leaving on vacation mid-December...

+1 ipryor

I got my Vin# on 9/30 and my build isn't scheduled to be done until the third week of Nov. with delivery 5-6 days after that. I'm hoping that the two week early delivery continues but I'm not holding my breath.

Although they may try to up production for the end of the year delivery #'s like they did at the end of Sept. So there's always a chance!!

I confirmed the day after and am still waiting to hear. It's possible our turkey will not be so fortunate to enjoy it's ultimate ride in our Tesla.
It seems like the factory deliveries get delivery dates assigned much sooner since they don't have to work out shipping details.

I'm hoping delivery doesn't slip. I'm excited to take it on a trip up to Napa that we had planned for that weekend. It'd be a fun inaugural voyage.

The order showed "Late November" but I called Tesla today because they just upgraded the tech package with the power folding mirrors yesterday and I had confirmed the day before that and I wanted to make sure to get the power mirrors. They said that because of that it could push the delivery out two weeks or so. I asked them whether "Late November" was possible on the old order and they said that they have it already scheduled and it looked good.

FWIW I have talked to two reps over the phone and asked them both whether late november was a good estimate and they both replied rather emphatically that they'll absolutely be able to do it...

Just checked my dashboard and "Late November" is gone. Under the edit page it says "We will contact you to schedule a date and time for delivery". Is this a good thing or are they going to push back my delivery??

Actually it should be good news. It has been reported before that it does that some time before you get contacted by a Delivery Specialist (DS). See here.

My experience was that the requested delivery date disappeared from the dashboard when the car was scheduled for assembly. If you hit the "edit" button now, you should see that you can no longer select a different date. This appears to be part of the transition from "requested date" to "scheduled date".

In my case, my requested date was "November" (and sales had indicated that meant a mid-November delivery). After speaking with the DS, my scheduled date is 21NOV. It seems that most assemblies got pushed a good week or two.

My "Late November" has been gone for a couple of weeks. I was told, "Yes that happens when your car has been sourced and it is waiting for a production date."
