Thanks. Makes sense... the wait is so long and just frustrates people, plus it puts a financial liability on Tesla... who knows what costs will be a year after an order is placed. Would also make it cleaner to switch to the 4680s, e.g. Y orders are a year out. When they are confident 4680 will be ready, they made that the baseline battery when the order book reopens plus have a year to prep.

I guess I am the worst luck one here! DO 11/10/21, MYLR, white, located on west coast. My EDD was pushed down again yesterday to July 28 - September 08. It is like a moving target. I have been on rental car for almost a month since my own car lease expired in April. Chatted with SA and visited local dealer, but both said that I have no other options besides waiting! So Frustrated!
Yeah, not just on them, but on us as well. Example, stocks taking a hit while interests rates are up. Hard to predict what everyone's financial situation / economy will be.
Yeah, same all I get is "nothing can be done". Still seem to be early than me though even though I ordered before you did.

I ordered mine on 11/04/2021. The EDD changed at least 5-6 time. Here is the current info:

I checked my EDD this morning, again this afternoon. I’ll probably check tonight (I don’t know why, nothing will change lol!). The end result is the same: EDD Jan-Apr 2023

Wow. Makes sense. If he said it. It will happen soon. That will force people to buy the Model S, 3 or X. If they want a Tesla. I like the decision if they do. Stop taking orders for 6 months. They can focus on their customers more.

It will be fixed over the air, does not prevent you from driving the car and no accidents have been reported due to it.
