I was doing some tests on my M4 this morning and noticed there was a patch of heat under the Model S that was sitting all day and night. It was 57 degrees F at dawn. So my initial assumption was that the Model S was probably radiating heat. But I don't think that is the case. I noticed rabbits and cats would always lurk underneath cars.

As it turns out, having a roof over your head does make it warmer.

Nice first post! Welcome to the TMC forums.

    Aren't FLIRs fun?

It settles a lot of unknowns. What I really want is FLIR GS series, but I can't afford a toy like that right now, it is in the $80,000 range.

Whoa! And I thought my FLIR was expensive. Model S vs. FLIR? I think the car will win out every time.
