Wrong. I bought the premium package for the HEPA filter after reading the scientific literature of how damaging chronic pollution exposure is and how almost half your lifetime exposure is due to driving.

I understand if you live in china/India where the air is so bad it will kill you, but over here in the states, it is not that bad and the regular filter will suffice.

Do you not smell all of the exhaust fumes coming into your car when you are out driving around? The HEPA filter is awesome. I have not smelled any fumes when driving my Tesla since I got it four months ago. Except for a few times when I had my window rolled down. It works fine with the fan on the lowest setting and I never turn on BDM.
