For those that have spent significant time in both, how does NVH compare on the newest version?

Does the double-paned glass cut wind noise significantly?

See my post: Upgrade from 2019 SR+ to 2021 LR. Some thoughts.
Wind noise has never been an issue for me in either models.
Road noise still the same. I guess double paned windows reduce some noise coming from cars next to you, but not noticeable.
Suspension, handling, etc, all the same.

In particular, my 2019 had a lot of wind noise despite trying all of the aftermarket products. More than my other EVs, and other ICE cars too. It was fine aside for that though - the road and tire noise never bothered me.

Everything I've been able to find suggests that the 2021, despite double-paned glass and other improvements is no quieter. If anyone has better information please share! Otherwise, I'm crossing 3 off the list (sadly).

Test drove a bunch of 2020 before getting my 2021. If it's quieter it's very minor. Almost zero wind noise in my car, mostly tire noise on the freeway.

Have a 2021, used to have a 2019. No improvement in noise, in fact the 2021 has a bit more wind noise.

Well that's a bummer! On a Model Y test drive, I noticed the double-paned glass was good at minimizing sounds from other cars, but I wasn't happy with the noise level of the car itself (suspension, road/wind noise).

Does your 2021 have double-paned glass?
