NVX 10 sub grill

I have an extra grill for the ten inch sub that comes with the NVX kit for the model s.
I was told the kit didn't come with a grill but it did. $15 shipped it you want it.

what is this for and what does the grill do itself is what I am wondering

This is for the NVX 10” aftermarket subwoofer. The grill is a cover to protect the subwoofer from impact from other items moving around in the trunk.
