I'd love to be there but will be out of town. :frown:
August 25 – 10:00am to 2:00pm
Tesla Seattle – 435 Westlake Ave N

Tesla would like to invite you to our Seattle showroom for our first Monthly MeetUp! We will have representatives from both Service and Sales available to answer ownership questions, and will provide coffee and other refreshments for your enjoyment.

We take great pride in the fact that Tesla has such an amazing group of happy owners in the Northwest who are driving GAS FREE! Every single one of you has contributed to our efforts to put more electric cars on the road, and we sincerely appreciate your loyalty and support. We hope this will provide a great opportunity for you to meet and mingle with other members of the Tesla community, put faces to names, share stories and ask questions.

Additionally, you are invited to stay with us when we open the store at noon to meet with prospective Model S buyers and share your Tesla experience. In our opinion, no one is better at welcoming people into the Tesla family than all of you! If you are interested, please RSVP to Genny Carter at gcarter at teslamotors dot com.

We would love to see you there!

Woke up 5:30am in Wenatchee. Got there about 8:30am. Annoyed Genny for 15 minutes or so. Greeted some owners at 10ish. Babbled with prospectives for about 6 hours. I think I helped close the sale with a nice couple from Yakima. Made sure Matt and Duncan had company for dinner. Drove home.

Arrival rated miles: 15
Leaving rated miles: 233 (max observed 236, then vampire took some)

Hopefully I earned my charge somewhat throughout the day.

Was lots of fun, even though very tired. Met Odinator and several other TMC members who recognized my screen name and didn't throw drinks at me. I call that a good day. ;)

How many Teslas made it? Were there lots of prospective buyers? We were sailing on Lake Chelan as part of the deal to get a condo free for two nights. (And with a 60 kWh pack and rotten traffic on I-90, I was barely home before midnight.) I was really sorry to miss it.

I never went outside (until dinner) so not really sure. By the headcount I would guess less than a dozen owner vehicles there. It was the first event like this (for Seattle at least), and only promoted on TMC. Apparently future ones will be e-mail promoted as well.
