Western/Central New Yorkers, with no Service Center near, what are you doing for NY State Inspection? Just take it to any shop and hope they don't get confused by systems they have to inspect which simply aren't there (exhaust) and hope they don't break anything?

Two Great Lakes border this state and I wouldn't call NY either New England or Mid-Atlantic, but whatever. Where are us poor New Yorkers accepted?
I feel you. Hudson Valley here. We don't fit in.
I'm up for inspection in May and plan to take it to the local shop in town. The service center isn't very far for me (about 60 miles), but I suspect the local shop will be more entertaining.
