NYS Thruway now has DC charging stations

The charging stations are each capable of supplying up to 50 kilowatts of power to an electric vehicle and support both of the standard connectors – Chademo and SAE Combo. Thruway motorists will be charged $8 per charging event. Motorists will need a Greenlots account or use the Greenlots app via a smart phone to charge at these stations. What is a charging event? Is this one of those stations that shuts off after 30 minutes?

The greenlots charger ive used in nj is $8 for up to an hour charge. Not bad for a 50kw charger.

When it works, of course. It's been offline for a month or so.

Yeah I haven't had much luck with CHADeMO between out of service, not pairing/working with the Tesla adapter and ICE-ing. The tech seems so much less stable/reliable than a supercharger.
