Can't believe summer is almost over! It's time to plan a meet-up for National Drive Electric Week! Need everyone's feedback on whether Saturday (Sept 20) or Sunday (Sept 21) works better and if morning or afternoon is preferred. National Drive Electric Week: September 15 - 21, 2014
Thanks Spleen. Every vote counts! But we'll probably go with whatever works for the majority of us. Either day works for me.
So far both days are OK for me, but my schedule can change last minute. I'll be there if I'm free, whichever day is chosen.
Can Anyone else make it? Sounds like Saturday afternoon works for those who have replied so far. Will start planning meet up place in a couple weeks once the date is finalized. Suggestions always welcome.
I found this while looking at the National Plug-In Week website: National Drive Electric Week Event - Honolulu There is a Waikiki EV parade on Sunday, Sept 14th sponsored by the Hawaii Clean Energy Foundation. I've emailed to ask for details. What does everyone think if we switch to the 14th instead? Who's available?
So - all, what's the final decision? Are we doing the 14th or 20th? Just let me know here. Either's okay with me.
The Hawaii Clean Energy people haven't finalized a location yet. Said they are close and will let me know.
There's some details of this event on their web site i.e., 8:30 - 10:00 EV Parade starting and returning to Kahala Triangle Park, 14 Sep. Has anyone registered for this event on their website?
That info was there when I contacted them. When they emailed back, they hadn't finalized a location yet but were close so not sure what's going on. I think we just stick with our meetup on the 20th but whoever can make it on the 14th attends too. Input, anyone?
