OBD Port in Passenger Footwell [Model 3 RWD in australia]

I was looking in the passenger footwell of my Model 3 and it looks like I have an OBD port on the vehicle. Seen some discussion about some cars having this, does anyone know if this can be used with apps like Scan my Tesla, instead of installing an additional port?

Did it work ? I can't seem to get any data out of mine (Feb 22 build)

Yes, I think this port doesn't give access to the correct CANBUS line I'm told, so it can't used for viewing these data.

i just tried connecting LX dongle and yes i could not connect SMT app although the adapter did get power (flashing lights). i have EU model 2021 M3. would be interesting to hear if anyone else managed to use this secretive footwell obd port. I am running a minimalist dash via back usb connection as well.
