OBD scanner of sensors

I have a rear sensor that's failing - the screen does not display any vehicle (or pedestrian, or any object) directly behind me. So when I'm sitting at a red light, and there is a car right behind me, that car is not shown in the screen display.
The car repair shop (Tesla certified) used a scanner, and it did not detect anything wrong with all the sensors.
So what can it be? Is the scanner at fault? or is the sensor not seated properly? Any thoughts, ideas?
Thank you!

Just wanted to mention that since taking delivery of our '22 June MYP, we have seen and experience the same thing but as soon as the vehicles get closer, they do appear in the visualization. Don't know if this is common or if there is a sensor software sensibility adjustment that Tesla can perform.

For now, we are not too concern but will continue to follow this thread to see if others are having similar experiences.
