Hi All. I’m debating about getting my car in Obsidian Black. I currently have an order for Metallic Silver, but in some pictures it looks white/ matte and my local Tesla shop didn’t have a car in that color for me to see in person.
My main question is how bad will the black car be in hot weather. We typically have several days of >100 degree weather here in Sacramento. My current silver car can be miserable until the AC has been running for 30 minuets but it also doesn’t have cabin overheat protection.
For those of you with black Teslas in hot climates, how are you fairing? Is cabin overheat protection sufficient or do you regret getting a black car ( I don’t care about dirt and swirls that much).
