This is an invite for the Tesla Owners Club of Orange County (OC Tesla) meetup with the Tesla Owners Club of San Diego (SD Tesla) at San Diego's Balboa Park on Saturday, July 8, 2017.
We're doing DINNER with the SD Tesla Club and plans and details for part 1 of the meetup (Park time/Meetup/and Dinner with SD Tesla). In a quick nutshell. The OC Club museum and park activities are self-paced and we intend to be at the park by 2pm on Saturday, July 8.
I have plans to supercharge, and leave the SD Qualcomm supercharger around 1pm to get down to the park by 2pm for those that may want to caravan down to Balboa Park. My phone number is at the meetup.com description and RSVP for the event.
There are plenty off things to do at the Park, so, we're budgeting 3 hours for folks to do their stuff. Then meet again at the parking lot for The Veterans Museum for Balboa Park (Park Blvd. just North of President's Way)) for our gathering and photos with the San Diego Club at 5pm.
This is about a half mile walk to our destination for dinner (Panama 66, located in the San Diego Museum of Art Sculpture Garden at Balboa Park). The Restaurant will support separate checks and carve out a section for us to all gather around.

So, those that want to spend maximum time and want to meet up with us, we're planning to be there at 2pm. If you want to hang with us and SD for dinner, 5pm is a good time to get there.
After dinner, we also have obtained discount ticket for Part 2, with the Richard II Shakespeare at 8pm option. The Old Globe has provided us with a 15% off discount for the top two tiers of tickets and have the ticket fees waived for the lower two tiers for the July 8 performance at 8pm. (We need one more ticket so that the club is not charged for this discount rate, so here's the link in case you want to "just get tickets and not meet us IRL.
