Not saying I believe it by any means, just repeating what he told me. It struck me as odd because I've never seen anyone report a future "VIN assignment" date.

My EDD was May 10-June 72 weeks ago, I added FSD and about 10 days later by EDD moved to April 2-30. Today it moved to 2 week window April 7-21.
A few days ago I got a text asking about trade in

I am getting model y long range red/white 7 seater , upgraded wheels

It seems to be getting closer!!

Yes I am in Texas as well, Allen TX ( north of Dallas) nine changed to April last Sunday and today to the two week.

i just got an exciting text from my SA. saying he had a blue with black interior model y performance ready to be picked up tmrw. i was about to snag it but i reeaalllyyy wanted white interior so i passed

I changed my order yesterday to MYP, and received VIN this morning, EDD 3/30-4/2 and I got the price of October (roughly about $6K cheaper than today's price with color change to MSM). I am tired of the wait and EDD change, so thank you to Tesla to let me change my order, so I will receive MYP MSM by the end of this week. . So if you are on the fence between MYP and MYLR and want to get your car ASAP, I think the change is worth it, I heard FSD does not affect your EDD any longer. My signature has all the details.

It sounds like this is expected, but you will likely wake up tomorrow or the next day with a VIN assigned.

Still thinking about doing the same thing, but $7k is a lot of money.

It is pretty sad to see the EDD changed to June 09 - July 21. What is weird is that I checked this morning - it was still 4/15 to 5/13. I thought they never update the EDD during the day. Apparently that was wrong.
