I have just received my January bill from Octopus and it included the rebate for their generous Christmas Day 4 hours of free electricity. Thank you Octopus, we had a lovely (and cheaper) Christmas Dinner as a result!

No, mine was entirely separate from any bill, in the “Balance history” page, an entry on 21st Jan for “customer reimbursement”.I don't have anything entitled "balance calculation" and don't seem to have got it... are you referring to the "Total Consumption for period" and "Breakdown by Rate" ... wait a minute ... here's a screen shot:

It will most likely be because your electricity readings aren’t reliably getting to Octopus. Even one 30 minute slot missing can mean no automatically generated bill. This is a weakness in the Octopus system.I've not had a leccy bill since Nov, just Gas bills. No idea what's going on there.

It should be £4.38, calculating from what the bill says. It was between the hours of 8am and 12 noon wasn't it?
