Octopus can also pull the plug on the whole IO tariff at any time for any reason, so that’s the greater concern for me personally. Not sure what makes you think I’m unaware of modern-day vast dataset mining / business analytics. Perhaps misinterpreted what I said, which was specifically about determining the reality behind the data, not that it would stop provider from terminating a user’s tariff if they wish.

Sadly no access to Agile Outgoing as I’m on Go Faster.
And even if I was, I can’t control export from the PWs anyway (another thing that would be good to have control over?)

I'd love to be on outgoing but it's not compatible with IO.. would be nice to not have to send quarterly readings to a completely different company just to get my FIT.

Hey ho! Having Powerwalls means that my average daily grid use for 4pm - 7pm is a poultry 60Wh irrespective of what the house is really drawing.
Come to that, somewhere between 2 and 20Wh is my constant half hourly draw. I couldn’t shift it if I wanted to.

Yep, same happened to me. I'm not even sure why they don't allow you to opt in afterwards, it's hardly like you can mess with the figures, your meter will have already sent them.

The key thing is Octopus being able to talk to the car or charger. If you are getting a Tesla vehicle then they can access it through Tesla’s API by using an OAuth token after providing your Tesla credentials securely via the Octopus Energy app.

As long as you can disable all the 'smart' features on your charger, then it will work with Tesla integration.

Just a quick question... I currently on Octopus Go and looking ti switch to Intelligent when the Tesla arrives this week. If I switch is the new tariff fixed and how long for? Can't see this covered in their FAQ's anywhere, I currently have around 9 month left on my current tariff.
