GOF rolled over for another 12 months, now April 2023 - 14.7p/5p with a 25p standing charge.

Very pleased

Might see if the neighbours want to run an extension lead from my garage

My Go Faster has also been rolled over on the existing rates, long may it last.

My term ends on April 16th and I have now received the email but it makes no sense. It says it will roll over onto go faster (????)

Can confirm that this happened to me today. I’m on the December 2019 v1 rate card (Go Faster for 5 hours from 20h30) for another year.

Mine has also rolled over at the current rate of 13.8p peak and 5.5p off peak with a standing charge of 25p.
Happy with that!

I wish had the option. I had Octopus Go, not Go Faster.

The day of the expiry it rolled onto flexible - so I immediately went to Intelligent Octopus.

I don't think it ever was an option for me. Was it location based? All I know is when I got my first Tesla, Octopus had only just started Go and I leapt on it as soon as I could.

It was (still is), a beta tariff.

Not offered (as far as I know), but you could email and ask to join the beta.

I just randomly checked my contract and Octopus have added 5 months to my GO contract. I’m not complaining as it covers the winter.

I’m beginning to wonder if Octopus has got a good supply contract conditional on a lot of power being used during the GO period so are they desperate not to lose GO customers, hence their generosity with the basic GO contract and renewals?

It certainly is odd. Rolling over my Go faster will probably save me £1000 over the next 12 months they must have some good reason for giving up that money

Don't complain or ask any questions!!

Domestic electricity prices aren't quite there yet, but if prices get close to 40-50p/kWh for home owners I'll be making use of the 'free Supercharging' for life our car alot more.

Gas prices next winter is going to horrific though .

People going to be in for another shock in october when the cap rises again. 15p/5p is going to be an absolute steal

I'm on the May 2021 v1 tariff as well but mine still shows an October 2022 expiry Hopefully it'll go the same way as yours!

The biggest benefit of GO whether on a 5p or 7.5p tariff, is that if you have battery storage, you can shift all consumption to the lower rate. We have not spent more than 5p / kWh for the past week. Even if I was paying 7.5p for my grid usage, I would not complain.
