Odometer lost miles

Hi all,

I was analyzing some data from a Model S, and noticed it lost 14 miles from the odometer. Consider the events below. The car moved 14 miles between the first and second events - verified by looking at the lat/long values for the car. We got another sample with a similar odometer value. Then the next time we asked, the odometer lost 14 miles (see events 3 and 4 below)! It's almost like the onboard computer hiccupped and rebooted without saving the odometer value to some persistent storage. That's weird. Has anyone else seen this?

[1]Disconnected SoC: 55% / 94% TAL: "4/22/21 8:49:12 -7" Odo: {65209.8 miles} Power: {0 W}
[2]Driving SoC: 49% / 94% TAL: "4/22/21 9:45:42 -7" Odo: {65223.8 miles} Power: {0 W}
[3]Driving SoC: 50% / 94% TAL: "4/22/21 9:47:35 -7" Odo: {65224.0 miles} Power: {0 W}
[4]Driving SoC: 48% / 94% TAL: "4/22/21 9:49:27 -7" Odo: {65209.9 miles} Power: {0 W}
[5]Driving SoC: 48% / 94% TAL: "4/22/21 9:51:20 -7" Odo: {65210.8 miles} Power: {0 W}
The car was at home, then started moving somewhere between events 1 and 2. The lat/long showed the car was basically moving on one road for 14 miles - fully consistent with the odometer reading. Then, it's like the odometer got reset to the value before the trip started.

These logs are from our Tesla data library. We use connected car API's to record what's going on.
