Odometer read 15miles...was this a previous rejected MY?

My car delivered last Friday said 15 miles on paperwork, odometer showed 7 miles when I picked it up. Not sure if it matters at all as long as it is under 50-100, I thought they may have road test miles on them after a build but I guess they don't do that? Car seems great so far in the last 6 days.

My loan contract says 15 ... I think it was either 3 or 9 when I picked up the car (from the Fremont plant).

Yes it would be pretty cool if the cars could drive themselves to you for delivery ...

My odometer was 7, but the paperwork said 15. Like the others said, that's just the default.

Thanks everybody for the feedback. I picked-up the MY today and it had only 5 miles . Upon delivery they told me the MY was born on June 29. After reading all these posts about delivery inspection concerns , I spent over an hour inspecting every inch of the car. Was ready to reject the car, if need be, but luckily it didn’t come to that.

I found a few missing screws under the car, poor fender/panel alignments and uneven panel gaps. It also appears someone over tighten the rear-driver door and all bolts show signs of stripped paint as result.....this lack of attention to details, ruined the pristine new car vibe. Also found the paint job had many faint swirl marks on doors and rear panels.....is this something anyone has brought up to service tech, that got resolved? Here are a few pics.

I would make a service appointment with each of your issues listed and get them resolved to your satisfaction - attach the pics. The paint above the rear wheel well would be my primary concern if I’m seeing it properly in your pic. Is that a poor touch up job? Best of luck and congrats on your new car! Once you’re happy with the fixes and just driving you’ll love it.
