Odometer reading..

Hi all,

I’ll be picking up my new MY PUP in a couple weeks. I noticed the contract says the odometer reading is 30..

Is this normal for a new car? I guess they have to drive it for transport..

The default used to be 50 and a lot of people were making too many posts and comments about it.

My car was delivered with 6 miles.

Every car I have ever owned (11 of them) has a mileage in the range of 0 to 50. Don't expect it to be exactly that number when it arrives. It might be more or less. And yes, most all the cars are driven a short amount for testing, but I have seen a bunch that weren't driven at all except on the transports.

It's a standard number they put in the MVPA, mine also said 30. The odometer reading 3 when I took delivery.

My MVPA said "15" for a LR I'm picking up this week.

Picked mine up 06/30 MVPA said 50 miles - had 9 miles on it at pick up

be very careful it is not someones return -- that is too many miles for a new car. At your traditional stealership - its customary for people to take cars out for test drives -- not at Tesla. Id do my homework.
