Both word of mouth and a recommendation. True Hyper-silver and Hyper-black need the gloss black base powdercoat, bright silver automotive paint middle coat and a clear or tinted clear powdercoat topcoat.

Interestingly I weighed my wheel/tire combos way back prior to the refinish. Digital bathroom scales were 48.0 which jived with the 25lb wheel and 23lb tire. Weighted the refinished ones tonight and they are all 47.8. I’m going to write that off as tire wear as the original wheel finish was chemically stripped and sandblasted prior to re-coating so that was probably a wash.

Wow. Blast from the past! I was but it was quite a while ago. I tracked my ‘03 Cobra for 10 years from ‘03 to ‘13. Mostly Mosport and Calabogie. Built it up into a great handling car. My cardiologist made me quit........ The 03DSG handle was my ‘03
