I've read that the quiettracks are quiet but not low rolling resistance.... Can you comment on any efficiency observations?I replaced my Michelin tires with Bridgestone Quiettracks. Much quieter.

In the 18" size? It doesn't look like their 235/45R18 has a variant with a 98 load index or XL load range designator, as do the OEM tires.I replaced my Michelin tires with Bridgestone Quiettracks. Much quieter.
Are you seeing any difference in efficiency with the PS4?
@Boourns can you post some pictures of the wheels with tires installed? I’m interested to see how the sidewalk meets with the rim on these
if the motor is in the back with more weight, I would suggest putting 42 in rears and 38 in frontsIf you want a sporty 3-season tire, I love the Pirelli P Zero Nero GTs on my LR RWD 18". Wore out the stock rears at about 15k. The wear was bad in the center of the tire but not so much on the sides indicating over inflation. The sticker on door jamb instructs 45psi which is where I kept the stock tires. I run the Pirellis at 38 rear & 42 front. They loose around 10% range (unscientifically). They're a little quieter than stock to my ear but not much. But the grip is fantastic!
I think the Conti’s are very noisy...19” anywayI replaced my Michelin tires with Bridgestone Quiettracks. Much quieter.
Good point. I might just drop all 4 to 38 for daily driving. My thought was to protect the rears since they're more vulnerable (due to my lead foot) but keep quicker handling in the front. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll play around with it at some point.if the motor is in the back with more weight, I would suggest putting 42 in rears and 38 in fronts
So far so good. The Discount Tire guy said the BFGs might be louder because the don't have sound deadening foam. But so far the only thing I've noticed is the thud going over a drop off or pot hole is a little louder. Normal road noise is not any louder that I can tell.@Boourns thanks! What’s your overall impression of them so far?
Interestingly those now show $170 at Walmart...PSA:
I ended up going with BF Goodrich Advantage T/A Sport from Discount Tire because they matched Walmart's current price of $107 per tire. They are currently $170 each from Discount Tire and NTB.

Discount tire was okay fitting a V speed rated tire to your car?
Yeah I saw a couple days ago they are back at $170. I honestly think it may have been a clerical error, but I'm not complaining.
I don't see why they wouldn't. V rating is 149mph, which I'm pretty sure is below the top speed of my car (LR RWD).
Because as I stated in this thread most DBs show W/Y as required!
I think i may go with the Nitto Motivo’s for my worn out rears in 245/45/18. Anyone used these? I’ve had decent luck with Nitto on other cars in the past.

I have an ‘18 LR M3 with 18” Aeros and the rear tires are shot at 15k miles.
I’m looking into alternatives to the OEM tires and was curious if anyone has had better success with alternatives? Better range/longevity/etc?
I went with continental DWS06 tires in 245/45/18 and am much happier with them over the OEM tiredid you end up getting these? i've been looking as well and was considering these along with the hankook ventus nobles...
