I think the valid concern is, that based on how previous features have been rolled out, that the FSD package will never not be labelled "Beta", and that thia score becomes a defacto new requirement to use the software that people did not agree to when purchasing. After 5 years, auto steer is still "Beta".

Tesla perhaps had not considered that there were so many drivers that were consciously engaging in poor and unsafe driving practices vs those who occasionally make mistakes. Why would Tesla want any part of that liability for enabling a bad driver to be an even worse driver? Perhaps in the future don't let drivers sign up for FSD until they have the app monitoring driving behavior for 6 months or something. A stop gap until level 4.
