Official model X price, described by Elon Musk in tweet

I'm guessing he's talking about the base price of a production X vs. a production S.

Right now:
A fully loaded Model S P90D: $145,700
A fully loaded Model X P90D: $144,950 (signature)

Model S is more expensive than the Model X (yes, not apples to apples... but both include all available options, i.e. max price)
Interesting. Then either the Sigs are getting a discount or some options are going to be cheaper. Maybe the $3,000 range upgrade is going to get thrown in? And "Next Generation" seats won't be applicable anymore, just a flat charge for leather?

Model S Model X
Base (70 kWh) $75,000 $80,000
90 kWh $13,000 $10,000
Performance $20,000 $20,000
MC Paint $1,500 $1,500
Larger Wheel Option $4,500 $4,500
Leather $1,750 $1,500
Carbon Fiber Décor $1,000 $1,000
Autopilot $2,500 $2,500
Premium Interior $3,000 $3,000
Smart Air Suspension $2,500 $2,500
Upgraded Sound $2,500 $2,500
3rd Row Seats $3,000 $3,000
$130,250 $132,000
Sigs getting a discount would be a (welcome) departure from the Model S days

My spreadsheet to see if there is a premium for a Signature version of the X (vs general production)
OR for the X over the S.
Not much difference.

Yeah, I did a bit of tinkering too, but without knowing Production pricing, it's hard to be sure of anything. I'd really rather not have a P90D (mainly for range concerns), but if I HAVE to, the price seems decent.
As stated well above in the spread sheets, Elon stating that the base X is $5000 more than the base S is not an apple to apples comparison. For an equivalent S 70D, you would still need to add the $3000 rear seat option and $1500 panoramic glass roof to equal that of a baseline X that has (I believe) standard 3rd row and panoramic windshield. From what I can tell, the baseline X is $500 more.
