Oh Tesla with your HUGE panels of glass. We tint Teslas. A. LOT. Of Teslas. We actually have the experience and knowledge to tint these large panels with just one sheet of film. There are installers out here that make the same claims BUT for a much cheaper price! Sounds great right?? No..... Check out the video below:
Unfortunately we see work like this come through our doors more often than you would think. And even more unfortunate, the client will sometimes keep that window tint since they already spent the money, OR they don't know any better. Then we show them our work:
This is the same Model X front the first video. It was originally installed by another window tint shop in the area claiming to have worked on plenty of Teslas and doing a 1 piece installation would be no problem. According to the client, after 2 failed attempts, his original installer ran out of film big enough for a one piece, and told the client it's actually better as a 2 piece? In case anything gets damaged you can replace one half or the other instead of redoing the whole thing... SMH. He thought he would save a couple hundred bucks by going the cheaper route. Installed he ended paying more than double.
CHECK A SHOP'S WORK before spending your hard earned cash with them. I can't stress enough that you will often get what you pay for. Protect yourself! Do it right the first time! Give us a call or set up a consultation! We'd love to talk to you!
