I'm still on the old maps, but I've noticed the last two days I'm getting new symbols on the display. Anyone know what this one is in yellow? IMG_20180412_222414.jpg

    Were you in a tunnel?

I’ve seen this crossing the bay bridge in San Francisco and always wondered what the yellow means

New maps are a separate update from the regular firmware updates.

Nope. No tunnel. I've driven that road for the last 2 years and that's the first time I've seen that pop up. It's happened twice now, both times on my commute to work.

Oh weird... I usually get that when I go underground for more than half a mile. So I always assumed that it was telling me that I'm driving on a road that is under the surface in case I couldn't tell visually by looking out the windshield.

I don't think so.... Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I thought the windows were for others to look in to make sure that I was still alive?

I have seen those yellow lines in an area that was under extended (read years) of construction. I took a picture of them about 6 months ago and was going to post the exact same question but never got around to it. Unfortunately I have wiped the pictures from my phone so I cannot post them here.

I’m thinking extended construction as well. Just to clarify, it’s not a bridge or overpass of any sort, right?

No construction. It is a bridge but it only turns yellow once a week.

Could be traffic, if people are slowing there a little but not a lot. This is how other maps handle traffic notifications, maybe Tesla is going to also?
