Hey Everyone, just thought I would get some opinions about some tires I just received. I had been looking for winter tires for a while and finally bit the bullet when Tire Rack had the Pirelli WINTER SOTTOZERO 3 on a steep discount (40% off). I triple checked the listing and nothing was mentioned about old stock or a closeout/clearance. Well it turns out they showed up this morning with 2019 manufacturing dates... I reached out and they said its not common but they usually list that information on the site if they are more than 1-2 years old.
Since these were kept in their well maintained warehouse, does anyone see an issue with these lasting on my M3LR? They technically age out in 5 years from a servicing stand point, but what kind of tread life should I expect with this car? My Focus ST had its only set of winter tires last 7 years before I sold the car.
