One man's advice to those considering UHF audio package

In my previous cars I always maintained an XM subscription to increase my listening options. I thought hard about paying the extra cost for the UHF audio (when I bought my car I think it was a $2500 option). I ended not getting it and I don't miss XM at all. I have all the music I care about and much more with Slacker and TuneIn. Plus I found the audio quality to be very good (note I am not an audiophile per se). Save your $$$ if you're on the fence and get the standard audio package.

Satellite radio is horrible sound quality. But the uhf adds good speakers including a nice sub. If you like your music enough to load lossless flacs on the USB port you probably will notice the benefit from uhf. If you only stream lossy slacker or Pandora etc it cld go either way.
