oneplus 8 pro as phone key?

does anyone have the op8 pro that can comment on its reliability as a phone key? i went from a OP5 to a pixel 3 last year, and while the OP5 was god awful, the pixel 3 has been great. i would imagine the op8 should be fine, but was curious if anyone can confirm that...

I've been using a OnePlus 7 Pro as my main for the past year. It had absolutely zero issues with my previous Model 3. With my newer Model 3, however, it works ~98% of the time. When it doesn't, I needed to open up the Tesla app and then try again.

i answered that question in my OP...

and while the OP5 was god awful

when i was using my oneplus 5, it literally almost never worked for walk away lock and was probably 50/50 as to whether or not it would work for unlocking. the pixel 3 has had no such issues.

I have a 7T Pro McClaren since Feb and it works fine 95% of the time. 5% requires that I wake the device, then good to go.

I have 100% chance of opening my Tesla when I just hit the power button on my car so the bluetooth is searching. If my phone is idle and walk up to the car, it sometimes doesn't let me open my car.
