Online chat with Tesla support?

Hi all, does anyone know the secret to getting the online chat to work on Tesla's site? It seems to randomly pop up, there is no icon to click on to get support. I find their voice system confusing trying to get through to the right person.

Also while I'm at it, does anyone know the eta for their customer support via email to get back to a customer? I am trying to order a model S key fob and emailed them asking the process but no response so far.

In my experience? They do not reliably get back to customers by email.

That's why I like using the chat feature on their website, within 5 minutes you have an agent to ask your question.. I can't seem to get the chat option to show up most times though...

The chat just sits there at “We’re connecting you with a Tesla expert…” for 20+ minutes. Does anyone know the chat hours? Wondering if I’m just wasting my time waiting for a rep to connect.

So I finally ended up connecting with a rep and he was excellent and addressed my concern.

At the bottom it will have a Chat button. On Safari on iPhone it looks greyed out, but keep tapping it and chat will open.

Also last time I tried it there was a bug with desktop Firefox preventing it from appearing. So if you happen to be using that, try another browser.

Sorry for the necro, but the button is often hard to find, and doesn't show up for various reasons.

You can brute-force a connection by visiting Salesforce - Unlimited Edition.
