They were so patient with my husband...lol. Thankfully one of us in this marriage is anal and looks at everything to make sure it's perfect. I would have been in and out in half an hour but it was an hour and a half due to all the questions.

He probably was not allowed to do it hence he removed his post. At least I hope so because I feel for the person who got screwed.So I stopped by Oakville again on the way home, and they got another truckload since the morning. I counted 38 RWD model 3s on the lot....I couldn't even park, had to go to the side of the laneway!
Also, I did see one MSM with EAP and 19" wheels that had 'no delivery' and 'inventory' written on the tag hanging from the mirror
I inquired about it since it looked like a spare car tesla sent up, but was told all cars are accounted for. The sales guy looked confused though, and thought maybe a problem was found and the car was slated for service and would get a delivery date afterwards, but that still seems odd to me...
However....I asked if someone did walk up and buy it now (assuming it was available) would they get the rebate, and he said probably not since the order came after July 11thbut I still thought it was worth mentioning....
Another fun fact: I made mention of the guy who was trying to sell his model 3 reservation/order here for the 'small fee' of $6,000. He actually was reading the thread on this, and he confirmed that someone changing the account over at this late stage in the game would set off red flags at tesla, and they expressly say you can't transfer to someone who isn't a family member....or sell your membership for a profit.
I actually was exchanging some emails with our 'friend' using a fake Gmail account, and offered him 4k with the intention of making him drive to meet me somewhere far, and then not show up
Initially he responded but then went silent, so I guess he got a better offer. I feel bad for the person who paid 6k extra for a car that he won't get a rebate for. Hopefully the tesla rep doesn't let them transfer it. Buyer beware....
This should go out as a notice to all tesla reps in southern Ontario: if someone comes in trying to transfer a black RWD to a 'cousin' don't let them do it! Stick the original owner with the decision to cancel it, or pay for a second car
Maybe the model 3 owners president should try and get that message out. The sales rep was very clear: selling a reservation like that is not allowed and they should prevent this from going through .
My DA said to expect 10-15 min total. I’m planning to take my time inspecting the car. Really hoping not to find any dealbreakers.

If he can produce the old reservation number, and argue about it, he will probably get through. Fingers crossed.
I'm getting my '14 Civic detailed in preparation for sale. Talked to the guy doing it, he was super excited about my Tesla. So, I brought it in tonight so he could check it out. He was all-out giddy about the car. It's really cool when people are enthusiastic about it -- it really is a gorgeous machine.
I've been working all night feverishly derailing my 07 BMW for sale too...makes me want to keep the car
Ordered June 4th, heard nothing still
I ordered mine June 6th. I called Tesla Canada this morning and was given the Vin. Rep told me delivery should be within one - two weeks
I then called the Oakville dealer (closest one to me). A delivery advisor emailed me back and gave me a delivery appointment on the morning of September 10.
Maybe try calling tesla canada to get things moving

Congrats on everyone that is taking delivery this week/have already taken delivery of the car! just a quick question, when did you guys receive your contracts with the down payment amount? Delivery specialist sent the following: "Bank Draft/Certified Chq in the amount due made out to Tesla Motors Canada ULC. Your contract will eventually be posted to your MyTesla account closer to pickup. The amount due can be found on Page 2, Line 4D." I'm sure they are all busy working away to get everything done for use but just wanted to anticipate when I should go to the bank to get the certified chq. Thanks!
It was a couple of days after arranging our appointment. Look at your account on a daily basis until it's there. It literally was a couple of days before delivery when it appeared.
We didn’t get an exact amount before we went for the appointment. Had to guesstimate. They should be able to give you a pretty close amount depending on what you’re financing or not.

Do you have an option to pay by direct debit from your bank account? I have only online banking and was told by tesla that I could do a direct debit instead of bank draft.

On my Tesla account page, the Order Agreement document got updated to a Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement early this morning that includes the final amount owing. I take delivery on Friday.
