I just reserved an FF91.... Hopefully the rebate is still there when it comes in.

You're likely being sarcastic, but there is a cap of $150K. The FF91 was said to be "under $300K". I don't think it will be under $150K.

Ridiculous, and outrageously out of touch comments like this speak loudly of the ignorance of the articles author, and his / their agenda imo.

I wonder if I can get a rebate on my next battery operated electric snowblower, which I haven't bought!

Hi all, first post here. What is the normal wait time for the EV rebate? I submitted my application through Tesla on Dec 30, 2016 and still nothing.

I think I got mine (2015) in about 8 weeks. It was a direct deposit into my bank.

Thanks, I think I will wait till the end of the March. Do you know where/who I should contact for this matter?

Did you follow up with somebody during that 7 months or you just waited patiently?

I was hoping to use that $3000 rebate for floor mats, window tint, PPF and dash cameras

Nope I was patient and then one day I checked my account and - BOOM. There it was. It was a good day.

Mine (a cheque in the mail) arrived inside of 2 weeks. That was the $8,500 rebate back in early 2013 though...

Call Service Ontario, and if they don't know your status, ask them to have someone call you about it. Mine took 6 weeks in early 2014.

    Hi All,

Just trying to get some clarification here. For the Ontario EVIP, does the manufacturer (Tesla) discount the car by $14,000 after taking into consideration options, delivery fee, taxes, etc?

Or do you have to pay/finance the full amount and then manually submit documents for the EVIP rebate? I've read conflicting reports on this.

Hope someone can clear this up for me. Thank you!

You finance the full amount, and you get the rebate direct deposited months later.
