Ontario Home Charger Installation Cost?

So I tried searching the forum and surprisingly couldn't find a thread to figure out what a reasonable cost is for a home charger install in Ontario. I've got 200A service, and the panel is in the basement about 25-30 ft horizontally from the intended location in the garage. Got one quote so far for $1200. Living in London. What have others paid? What is reasonable? Any change in price following cancellation of the EVCIP?

Installation cost will vary with the circuit you put in. 6AWG to a 14-50 to give you a mobile connection point or 48A On a HPWC. If your going to 40A circuit or 32A load then it’s considerably cheaper. If you want the daddy of circuits then a 100A circuit would give you the max load of 80A. Also depends on your charger in your car.

My panel is in the garage so only needed about a 5ft run to my HPWC charger. $350 install including the 60A breaker,
