Ontario - Personal/Vanity license plates

The delivery of my M3 LR RWD Red Aero is hopefully in the next week or two. I've never owned vanity plates before but want to get some just for the fun of it. I won't trot out any names yet, but I want it to match the plates to the same theme I"m using for naming the car.

I've checked the Ontario govt website and it states "personalized Green Vehicle licence plates are not available" thus I'd have to get regular white background blue lettering plates. I'm okay with that and I live in Ottawa so don't really care about the High Occupancy Lane benefits that have a green plate would entitle me to.

Are there any other disadvantages to not having a green plate, or perhaps even advantages to having a regular plate (won't attract EV haters?). Has anyone else got a neat vanity plate for their Tesla in Ontario?

Beautiful choice of name! Also, the white/blue plate is a great match to the color of your car.

I hadn't thought of that! The green license plate is nothing compared to the Tesla logo.

Took the T logo off for PPF and never looked back

Picked up these plates a couple years ago but decided to wait for the Model Y since it is a better fit for our family. Brand new, never used and one-of-a-kind set of plates. Legally able to be sold once. PM if interested.

Thanks for all the comments on my thread. Much appreciated. My car delivery is imminent ?? so I ordered my vanity plates today. I picked a plate that honours the Apollo 11 mission and Neil Armstrong. I'll post here once I get the plate on the car.
