So I made an inquiry about the spare set of forged 2.5 rims that were listed with #1038 and Jeff, the owner, said he wanted to sell everything as a package vs. parts here and there to ship.

I thought about it a bit . . . pretty sweet price and I was having some BBD (Bumper, Bolster, Double-Din) envy anyway so . . .

Look what was in the carrier behind 1038! This was in PRISTINE shape inside and out!

So I have stable-mates for the time being. Probably will sell 667 since 1) i don't need two roadsters, and 2) my daily driver was broken into after being relegated to the street
    IMG_20200427_084408.jpg

Of course, I've done a modification already

Anyone need a 2.5 Snow Shield? Taken off to prepare for the transfer of the JdeMO from 667
    IMG_20200503_150514.jpg

Or 2 year old, but never used, winter tires (Blizzak WS80) - rims not included

The other stuff that came with it will probably go on the market too.
    • CAN SR
    • CAN JR
    • Titanium Dave Rotors (I was in the latest group buy) I'll probably keep the pads

    Zoinks!

    Nice pick up Andrew.

Please PM me with what you want for each of the CANs or for both?

Hell what do you want for the rotors too?

    Thanks,

    Henry

Glad to see it went to a good home! Lightning Green with all the carbon accents is my dream Roadster. Gave 1038 serious thought and decided that I already have too many cars for someone working from home for the foreseeable future. Now I can live vicariously through you :D. You've got the "lightning and the thunder"

I’m interesting in the SR and will be selling my JR afterwards.

congrats on the purchase! Seems a busy week for roadster purchases!

And the rotors as well if they’re not purchased by someone above me.

Wow you did buy it. Missed it by that much lol. Congrats my friend. I'll buy the car cover from you case I land my roadster. They are so hard to come by. PM me if the cover is available

I am SO thrilled this one went to a loving home. Congratulations!

That configuration is next on my list...we may be matching within the next year or so. ;)

Where can I find out more about these roadsters? I have a Model 3 and would like to add a roadster. What is a 2.0 or a 2.5? What is the 0-60 in these beautiful cars?

There's a ton of good information here within the forum.

Also, the Wikipedia page isn't bad:
    Tesla Roadster (2008) - Wikipedia

1.5, 2.0, 2.5 refer to the different revisions of the Roadster that were made over the production timeline. 0-60 is 3.9 or 3.7 for the sport version. Nice and zippy.

Yes, both have the factory HID upgrade.

I put in LED high beam into 667

search the roadster forum. you definitely want to do your research first. and set aside another $4-$6 for PEM repair/upgrade you'll eventually need.
