Opinion on wheels and tires setup

Hi guys. My Y LR need a new set of tires. I was thinking of changing the wheels:

Wheels
ENKEI PERFORMANCE
PHOENIX​

• 18x8
• Finish: Gloss Black Painted
• Offset: +45mm (same as stock just smaller wheels. less than 23lbs per corner.

Tires

QUATRAC PRO - SIZE: 255/55R18​

I know overall diameter will increased 1". other than that I think it will not rub.
Is anyone running this setup?

Tirerack says it will work. I'm surprised it's rated for SUV weight, but 23lb wheel would be great! I just dumped my 21" Ubers for 19" Stance SF03s at 24lb, and I can definitely feel a difference in acceleration, efficiency, and ride quality.

Make certain, and doublecheck, weight capacity rating. Even TireRack can make a mistake.

245/50-18 is the correct size for dropping to 18". Closest to factory diameter. (255/50-18 would be exact match but this size does not exist)

i dont mind the oversize. the tires are cheaper.
the wheels are 22.15 lbs. according to tirerack. and load rating 1852.

Humm. I cannot confirm the wheel weight. In Tire rack it says 22lbs but in other sites they said 29. Huge difference. It only makes sense for me if I can reduce wheel weight. ENKEI site itself does not state a weight for this wheel. Does anyone knows?

I can tell you that in my case the specs on the Stance SF03s state the wheel weighs 21lb - but on my scale it registered as 24lb. So maybe they all fudge a bit. Can't remember where I got this Enkei speadsheet, but notice they state "Estimated Weight."

Thanks, I think the weight in tr is the smaller wheel weight.

Got excited and put the TSportline 18" with Michelin Pilot sports in the card plus the accessories. I dunno $3600 just seems to be a lot for a downgrade. The tires are almost double what tire rack is charging too. Ah well, Ill hold off I guess.

Buy the wheels from Tsportline and the tires from tire rack then
