Order Change & Delivery Delay

If I was to change my order I have for M3 to MY, do I have to pay additional $100 order fee or should I be able to contact TA and get it changed over if VIN is not assigned and has not been paid for?

Also, how long can you delay order for? Months, years?

They will have to cancel your 3 order, $100 loss.
New order Y will be another $100.

I have delayed a Model 3 since March 2020, even declined a 2020 VIN last month.
Planning on delaying even longer until next quarter bringing it to one year since orig order - and my adviser is ok with it, in fact he suggests it vs cancelling the order altogether.
