Order email from Tesla

I am still unsure of what color. If I got an email, I would panic!

I'd freak out too, but I've also decided since I want one of each color, I'll just let my gut decide what color on a whim. What could possibly go wrong with that?

@NoTDI : I would ask him for a screen shot of the email and then post it here to verify his claim. Not saying he is lying, just would be good to have physical evidence that we are another step closer to configuration/delivery

I have but nothing yet. I will update if I hear.

They are the Aero wheels without the covers.

That's a Model S, not a Model 3, in that photo, so they're not the naked Aero wheels.

Didn't think so. The wheels in the picture of the MS actually look nice compared to the naked aero's

I think that color is Midnight Silver, I don't think they offer that color in Model 3. I like that color too (though I ended up with Blue for my Model S). still undecided also for the Model 3, either Black or Red

Actually Midnight Silver is available on the Model 3. I too will order midnight silver on my M3.

A key aspect of your photo is that the vehicle has had "chrome delete" or "blackout" installed. Notice the chrome accents that normally reside around the windows and door handles are all black... No chrome. Definitely a sporty look. The chrome works well when you are going for classic or expensive.

Actually Midnight Silver is available on the Model 3. I too will order midnight silver on my M3.

If I had to guess I would say its Dolphin Grey, one of the original discontinued S colors. I have Midnight silver and it is a darker and richer in color. Looks better IMO

It was a P85+ and a check of used inventory confirms it is the discontinued grey

You are correct. It had the blackout around the windows. The door handles and other chrome was carbon fiber look. With the very dark tint it looked very sharp in person
The picture doesn't do justice
The wheels really made the whole package but I'm sure they are $5000-$6000 set

Those wheels look like 22" rims. more space between the rim and calipers than my 21's. Also looks lowered, possibly with aftermarket lowering links for the air suspension.
