It appears no one outside of CA or WA have gotten any recent VIN's. Location seems to matter more than order date right now.

I'm in S. CA, have not received my VIN, ordered on 3/14. I'm on the 5/19 to 6/8 camp.

Exactly. I don’t have a SA yet but I will be calling the local SC to find out when the delivery date is and if I can pay after I inspect the car.

I'm curious about the process as well. I don't want to be paying for a car I haven't seen that potentially is in bad shape.

Well this must be an error my delivery went from June 15-30 earlier today to April 13-19 and I don't even have a VIN lol.

Same here. Ordered 4/10 with a delivery date in 5-10 weeks. Today my new delivery date is April 13-19.

Just got off the call with my SA. My MY birthday is 4/12 and at this time there is nothing showing new headlights or confirmation that any MY other than the MYP is expected to get the new headlights either. She said she looked into what new products may be coming and there is nothing new on the current horizon.

My latest update: I received a text today stating: "Tesla Update - Your Model Y will start moving toward the Fresno Delivery Center soon! Please select your appointment now at tesla.com/schedule/RNxxxxxxxxx for your touchless delivery".

4/13 Text message received, delivery updated to April 15 - April 18 on the website. Online availability when I clicked on the link was only showing pick update April 17, 18, or 19. Worked out fine since I only have Sunday off.

The Model Y configurator now shows the new headlights for both the LR and Performance

That doesn't matter and it has been like that for weeks now. They are not coming with new headlights for any car except the MYP currently. SAs are always last to know anything but if current builds in April don't have them then it is a safe bet that at least for April, the headlights are not showing up on other vehicles.

What’s the more important thing to look at? Build date or what’s the other date that we look at when we see if a vehicle has the updated features?

I ordered same build as you except 19inch wheels on 3/28. I’m experiencing the same thing, delivery dates went from April 21-may 10, now I’m at April 29-may 18.

My SA told me my delivery would 100% be towards the end of May, but he also wanted me to complete financing today. At first I got 2.49% and then after emailing Tesla financing they lowered it down to 2.19% through Chase.
