Tesla delivery called me this week to say it’s most likely going to be early December now. It’s a shame the estimates when you place your order are so far adrift - if it’s december it’ll be 2 months late compared to what it said as delivery estimate when I ordered.
My Tesla now shows “late Nov - December”
There wasn’t really an apology and I didn’t have time to engage in a long discussion when she called, bulletpoints of conversation something like this:
-Car now on boat (knew that already)
-Soon be in Europe for reassembly and inspection, then on a transporter to UK
-Likely to be Early December for delivery
Have to wait and see!
It could well be the last position. The AIS stuff can be tracked by satellite, but you generally need a paid subscription to see that. Once it's in range of shore in the channel it will pop up again. BTDT.
It’s route is Houston - Norfolk (USA) - Antwerp - Rotterdam. So IF our car is on that, it’s due in Rotterdam Oct 30th.
Mine still shows as en route to Europe...
Are you still showing late Nov / dec? Or has it changed again? Maybe your car on a different boat then.
So I guess it’s moved back up from the late Nov / early Dec that it had changed to...hopefully for you that means no longer December....
